Data deletion

WhatsApp Business accounts

To disconnect your WhatsApp Business account from Lipaware and have your data deleted, email privacy@lipaware.com from your account’s registered email with the subject “Data deletion request” and your business name.

We will revoke our access to your WhatsApp account and delete your data within 14 days, and confirm by email when this is done.

You can also remove Lipaware’s access at any time from your Meta Business Settings under Integrations → Connected apps, or disconnect the account in the Lipaware portal. We then revoke our access and delete the stored credentials.

Other personal data

To have any other personal data we hold about you deleted, such as enquiry, portal account or marketing details:

1. Email privacy@lipaware.com with the subject “Data deletion request”, or use the privacy request form.
2. We reply within 2 working days to confirm your identity, usually with a code sent to the email or phone number we hold.
3. We delete the data within 14 days and confirm by email.

To stop marketing emails only, click “Unsubscribe” in any of them.

Customers of our clients

If you use a wallet, payment, lending or messaging service that a business offers on our platform under its own brand, ask that business to delete your data. It controls the data and will instruct us to delete it. If you contact us instead, we pass your request to the business within 3 working days.

What we must keep

Records the law requires us to keep, such as KYC and transaction records, are kept for the required period (usually 7 years), used for nothing else, and deleted when it ends. We tell you if this applies to your request. See our privacy policy for details.
